Each combination below has a reviewed official search, field-level lookup instructions and reviewed status meanings from its own board. Other states and trades receive honest routing instead: the confirmed authority, jurisdiction guidance, or a plain statement that our review is not complete.

How it works
What the worksheet does, and what it does not
- Choose the check. Pick the state where the work will occur and the trade. We show the confirmed authority and the exact credential family the check covers.
- Prepare the official search. You see what the official search accepts and open it on the authority’s site. Names and license numbers are entered there, never here.
- Follow the check sequence. Match the record, confirm the credential type and scope, read the status, and check where the credential applies. Each step cites the board source it comes from.
- Explain the result. Select the exact reviewed label from that board to read its meaning. “Not found”, an unfamiliar label and an unavailable search each get an honest next step, never a verdict.
- Keep the worksheet. What you report checking stays on your device unless you clear it. Print or save it as a PDF. Nothing is sent to us.
The worksheet is not a background check, a verification certificate or a hiring recommendation. It never labels a person “verified”, and opening an official link does not complete a step; every completed step is something you report yourself.
