Formal verification

Evidence reviewed

The Tennessee Board of Nursing has designated Nursys as a primary source for verification of Tennessee nursing licenses. For status and discipline in other states, the Board also points to Nursys. A nurse applying to another state, or to Tennessee by endorsement, requests licensure verification through Nursys for a $30 fee paid to Nursys; only for states that do not participate in Nursys does Tennessee use its own endorsement verification request form.
