TDLR's guide separates on-time renewal under Current and Active from expired-license routes for less than 90 days, less than 180 days, less than three years, and more than three years after expiration.
4 hours
1 hour sanitation; 1 hour human-trafficking awareness; 2 hours chosen from TDLR-listed subjects
TDLR routes payment through the online license-renewal application; the reviewed public practitioner guide does not display the esthetician renewal amount.
Once expired, the renewal route changes according to elapsed time: less than 90 days, less than 180 days, less than three years, or more than three years. Use the matching TDLR status path instead of the Current and Active path.
Use TDLR's practitioner-license renewal guide, select Esthetician, choose the current license-status category, confirm continuing-education completion, and continue to the online renewal application.
